Braun Research, Inc. is a privately-owned online data collection company that builds and maintains online consumer and B2B panels. You can be assured your privacy and the confidentiality of your information is our number one priority. All of our research studies report aggregate information, that is, information about groups - not individuals. Individual information is never reviewed or published. All individual information provided is held strictly confidential.

To become a panel member, we ask that you fill out a registration form that gathers some personal information. We ask for your email address so that we can send you email invitations to participate in our surveys. All email contacts from Bartender Lounge will be sent to your primary email address that you gave to us upon registration. We also ask you for your name and contact address. This information is required so we are able to send your reward to the appropriate recipient address. Once you are a member of the Bartender Lounge Research Panel, your information is stored in our secure proprietary database so we may call upon it to determine which people match up with specific research studies. If we think your profile makes you a potential candidate for a study, we will email you an invitation to make you aware of this opportunity.

Like other websites on the Internet, we use a variety of mechanisms to keep our sites running smoothly. We use cookies, small data files stored on your computer's hard drive, to collect information such as browser, type of computer, operating system, and other similar information. We also use cookies to retain your username. This feature allows us to recognize our members every time they return to the sites, although for your protection you are still required to log in each time you visit in order to access password-protected areas of our sites. Braun Research, Inc. takes strict measures to ensure every aspect of your information is kept secure. Access to all personal information is restricted and limited to few key personnel. Our website security is reviewed on a monthly basis and can only be accessed via a strict password policy. Braun Research, Inc. will never ask you for private information such as your credit card or social security numbers as a part of our research. Your profile information is highly confidential and will be used only by Braun Research, Inc. to email you concerning our studies, general website information, and incentive redemptions.

We provide you with a Members Area on our site; here you may correct or update your membership information, view your point allocation, and even refer other bartenders to the site. You are also given the option to delete your membership at any time. If you are a Panel member and delete your membership, all your profile information will be permanently removed from our database. Please note that in some cases it may take two to three business days for your information to be completely removed from all of our records.

Members with a positive point balance that would like to cashout but have been inactive for a year or more need to mail a written request stating the Cash Out delay to:

By becoming a Bartender Lounge Research panel member, you agree to receive emails inviting you to participate in surveys that we feel may match your experiences and background. If at any point you decide that you no longer wish to be a member of the Bartender Lounge Research panel database, you can simply cancel your membership on the My Account page.

We may disclose personal information when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to the edicts of the law.

Registration and Passwords. You may access this site anonymously as a visitor and will not be required to provide personally identifiable information. However, in order to access certain services and content on the Site, such as surveys, you will be required to register to become a Member of the Site. You must provide truthful information when signing up to become a Member, and may not use any aliases or other means to mask your true identity. Panelists shall not activate or use more than one account. During registration, you will choose a password to use with your email address. The password provided should be safeguarded at all times. You are responsible for the security of your password and will be solely liable for any use or unauthorized use under such password. We may suspend or terminate your membership at any time with or without notice with or without cause in BRI's sole discretion.
Unauthorized Use. You may not use spiders, robots or other automated data mining techniques to catalog, download, store or otherwise reproduce or distribute content available on the Site or to manipulate the results of any panel, poll, survey or point rewards on the Site. You may not take any action to interfere with the Site or any other user's use of the Site, including, without limitation, via means of overloading, "flooding", "mailbombing" or "crashing" the Site. You may not send unsolicited email, including promotions and/or advertising of products or services, through the Site or forge or mask your true identity in any email or posting. You may not frame portions of the Site within another website, alter the appearance of the Site or establish links from any other website to any page of the Site other than the home page. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, or inflammatory material or any material that could otherwise violate any law. BRI will fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing BRI to disclose the identity of anyone posting any such information or materials.
